'Yield not thy neck to fortune's yoke, but let thy dauntless mind still ride in triumph over all misforturne.' Shakespeare

The point is this: Our greatest power is found in our ability to make choices. Our best choices are made when we have good information and allow our highest sense of self engage in the decision making process.

My goal for you is simply to assist you in fully understanding your options, explaning the inherent benefits of the various process, and to help you make choices regarding your life rather then leaving those decision to someone else.

We all can do make good choices with good information and a bit of support; regardless of the unique challanges you currently face. The key is to make a conscious decision to take a path that will lead you to a destination of your choosing.

You do not have to allow others (lawyers, judges, friends, etc) to make the choice. Nor do we need to let fear or anxiety for our hand.  Good solid information explained in the way you need to hear it makes all the difference in the world.  Their is true power in a decision. Whatever decision is made, let it be you making it.  I truly believe we can help.   -Kevin

    General Comments

My education, training and life experieces have all brought me to Collaborative Law (although I will still represent clients in contested and highly adversial divorce on a case by case basis).

From my from my pre-law experieces with conflicts, to my first mediation training over 10 years ago, to fifteen years of "winning" custody battles, to Sincere Soul Searching, to meeting Pauline Tessler in February of 2006. My interest in collaborative law reflects my interest for orginally becomng a lawyer, which quite simply was to help people.

In collaborative law, my uniquely gifted skill set can truly come into play to assist people in creating creative, respectful, acceptable and lasting resolutions to their particulary issues. This is not a one-stop fits all approach, but rather an approach that allows (in fact insists) that clients set their own aspirations and goals and then we the assistance of the collaborative models, including other collaborating professional such as coaches, parent educator, finanacial professional, and whomever may be of assistance creates the best posssible culture to lasting agreements.
